I wrote about my year in reading for The Millions’ Year in Reading. Mainly about Naipaul’s A House for Mr. Biswas, which is my favorite novel. I like Naipaul even more after I read that interview where he talks about how much he misses his favorite cat, a year after he died, which I can’t link to because I don’t feel like looking for it, because it’s so sad. I think it was in The New Republic. It occurs to me that my job is to say words about words. Sometimes I do it for free, though.
